ਆਪਾ ਲਕਾਉਂਦੀ ਹਾਂ!

ਕਿੰਨੀ ਵਾਰ ਹੱਸਦੀ ਹਾਂ!
” ਤੇ”
ਕਿੰਨੀ ਵਾਰ ਰੋਂਦੀ ਹਾਂ !
ਜਿੱਦੀ ਜਹੀ ਬਣਕੇ ਮੈਂ ,
ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਦੀ ਹਾਂ!
ਮੁਹੱਬਤ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਤਾ ਦੇਂਦੀ ,
” ਤੇ”
ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਫੇਰ ਹਰਦੀ ਹਾਂ !
ਬੰਜਰ ਜਿਹੀ ਹੋਈ ਜਾਪੇ,
“ਹੁਣ”
ਹਰ ਇਕ ਆਸ ਮੈਨੂੰ !
ਪਰ ਬੀਜ ਆਸਾਂ ਦੇ
ਮੈਂ ਮੂੜ ਮੂੜ ਕੇ ਧਰਦੀ ਹਾਂ
ਪਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਰਿਆੜ …..

“ਕਨੈਡਾ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਸੁਪਨਾ”
ਜਾਣਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਅੱਜ ਆ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਵੇਖ ਲਿਆ,
ਕੀ ਖੱਟਿਆ, ਕੀ ਗੁਆਇਆ, ਕੀ ਪਾਇਆ , ਕੀ ਹੰਢਾਇਆ, ਅੱਜ ਆ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਵੇਖ ਲਿਆ ,,,,
ਉਦੋਂ ਦਿਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ ਪਿੰਡ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਣਾ ਮੈਂ,
ਹੁਣ ਦਿਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਵਾਪਸ ਹੈ ਜਾਣਾ ਮੈਂ,,,,
ਚੰਦਰੀ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬਹਿ ਗਈ ਸਾਰੇ ਖ਼ਾਬਾਂ ਨੂੰ,,
ਪਿੰਡ ਦੀ ਹੈ ਯਾਦ ਆਉਂਦੀ , ਰੋਂਦਾ ਬਹਿ ਬਹਿ ਰਾਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ,,
ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਠਦੇ ਸੀ, ਤੜਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਦੇ ਸੀ,
ਚੰਦ ਦੀ ਚਾਨਣੀ ਹੇਠ , ਬਾਤਾਂ ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਸੀ, ਹੂੰਦੀ ਨਾ ਸੀ ਫ਼ਿਕਰ ਨਾ ਫਾਕਾ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਜਣੋਂ,ਇਕ-ਇਕ ਪਲ ਅਸੀਂ ਹੱਸ ਕੇ ਲਗਾਉਂਦੇ
ਅੱਜ ਚੇਤਾ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਧੂੜ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਡਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ , ਜਿੱਥੇ ਬਚਪਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਖੇਡਦੇ ਸੀ, ਕਦੇ ਰੋਂਦੇ ਸੀ, ਕਦੇ ਹੱਸਦੇ ਸੀ , ਪਰ ਦਿਲ ਵਿਚ ਖੋਟ ਨਾ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਸੀ।
ਪਿਆਰ ਪਿਊਰ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਓਦੋ, ਬੇਬੇ ਦੇ ਸੀ ਲਡਲੇ ,ਬਾਪੂ ਤੋਂ ਸੀ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਗਾਲਾ , ਉਦੋਂ ਨੀ ਸੀ ਸੋਚਿਆ , ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਛੱਡ ਜਾਣਾ,
ਥੋੜ੍ਹਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਆਪਣਾ ਡਸੀਜਨ ਮੈਂ ਲੈਣ ਲੱਗਿਆ, ਚੰਦਰੀ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਗਹਿਣੇ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ, ਸਟੱਡੀ ਦੇ ਵੀਜੇ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਫਾਇਲ ਦੀ ਧੱਕ ਤੀ , ਹੌਲੀ ਹੌਲੀ ਫਿਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਆ ਗਿਆ, ਚੱਕ ਕੇ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਗਿਆ
ਆ ਕੇ ਕਨੇਡਾ ਨਵੇਂ ਰੰਗ ਮੈਂ ਦਿਖ ਲਏ,
ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਜੀਊਣ ਦੇ ਢੰਗ ਮੈਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਲਏ

“ਇਕ ਅਰਦਾਸ”
ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਖੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਭੁੱਖ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ
ਜੋ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਉਹਦਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ
ਤੇਰੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿਣਾਂ ਹਰ ਪਲ
ਆਉਂਦੇ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਦੁੱਖ,ਕੋਈ ਨਾ
ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਰ ਪਲ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੇ
ਪਿਆਰਾਂ ਜਾ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਤੇਰਾ
ਕਰਾ ਦੁਆਵਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ
ਨਿਮਾਣਾ ਜਾ ਪਰਵਾਸ ਮੇਰਾ
ਹੰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਨੀਵਾਂ ਰੱਖੀ ਮਾਲਕਾ
ਗੁੱਡੀ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਜਾਵੇ
ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਰਹੀ ਮਾਲਕਾ
ਕੁੱਲੀ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਸੜ ਜਾਵੇ

A feeling often I get in the night,That makes me shiver in fright,It always comes when sun goes down,
When the darkness spreads all around,The cool breeze swirls through my hairs,And I smile thinking of someone, somewhere,The smile that I share with someone at distance,That makes me feel she’s standing next to me,I feel her soft fingers caressing my hairs,And a whisper that says “I love you” my ears,That gives me feeling of love that always lingers,Still I know everything I see is not for real,And dream of being with you is only surreal,But that don’t let me stifle my heart’s feelings,All I want now is to be with you tonight,Even if I have to imagine it with all my might,I will spend my night gazing above at moon,And Smile with wish to be with you soon…
Always Around You.
A freezing dawn of January,Mystique mist covering the itinerary,Chilling air reaching inside the cloths,And then I heard soft whispers,Saying “Don’t go back to sleep”I thought it’s an illusion,And it’s only my mind’s creation,But I heard it again,Now in a familiar voice,Saying “Don’t go back to sleep”
It kept saying the mystique,After a while my tears roll down,But smile came at the end,When I heard it all,It told me to stop for a while,Turn and don’t look back,But I ignored the last sentence,And looked back with oddity,I saw the two worlds meeting at horizon,I saw the door of second world,Round in shape with golden architrave,Full of clouds and it was left open,I tried looking at the shadow inside,When I saw my ‘Angel’ coming,And said “Don’t go back to sleep,Because I am no Dream,I am in real,Whenever You will think of me,I will always be there,Always around you”… ♥
All I do is ♥ you..
When you wear that old sweater,
Or your faded jacket,
Everyone stare at you.
They can’t see the person in you,
Just because they don’t love you,
They don’t even know who you are,
But it’s only me who know,
You are most beautiful girl I know…
I don’t remember when I fall in love with you,
Not because you wear an old sweater,

A Walk to Memory Lane
A walk back to the memory lane,People coming and going in hasten,Strangers can be seen everywhere,Happiness is hiding somewhere…
Then I saw you coming along,I realized this is where I belong,Teardrops are falling from eyes,With a fear of saying goodbyes…
I don’t know for how long we are walking,In this silence our hearts are talking,I don’t know how long I will stay,But I don’t want you to fade away…Will you stay??
A sad love song
A sad love song,Playing from quite a long,Two Empty eyes,Staring at hollowed places…
A shattered soul,Assembling its pieces, Two broken hearts,And the love between them…
An untold pain, Made hopes completely vain,Two lives,Sharing the same vibes…
A memory,Waiting to be erased,Two dried tears,Telling the eyes to refrain…
A loner,Who refused to cry,Two photos,Keeping him alive..
Can you hear the song,A sad love song,That is still playing,And my memories are graying…

I remember everything,
I remember each Word you told,
I remember each Tear that rolled,
I remember the Love and Care you had,
I remember how I made you Feel Sad,
I remember the Request you made,
I remember the Silence I kept,
I remember the things I Thought,
I remember the Pain it brought,

I remember the Promise I made,
